Exigence

In the rhetorical element exigence is the problem or issue that happened that made you think about picking the topic or event that happens that made you think about this issue.

In the beginning, I didn’t know what is exigence mean and I learned it as we go along with the course and now I know that its means the issue that made you pick your topic in the first I thought it was kind of similar to propose.

Purpose

The purpose means the main point of your essay or your topic. And the real goal or the idea that you want to reach.

I knew what is purpose means also, I had to use it in every essay because its the point for my essay it wasn’t hard to understand it since I already knew it, and now I understood it clearly and also, I understood that for every topic or event it has to be a purpose for everything and I used their purpose in my topic. I had a purpose so that’s why I choose the event that I wrote my essays about.

Audience

Audiences are the people who are reading or the people you are writing your essays for them or the people who are listening to you and the spectators at your performance.

At the beginning of the course, I knew the audience means the people who are listening or writing your idea. Every topic must have an audience so they get your idea and your message.

Stance

The stance of a paper is the attitude or the feeling that the author has for their topic. The stance is how the author is using the words which is emotion and attitude of writing.

I was confused about this element and I didn’t really understand it but during the course, It became clear and we use the stane in our essays and where to pick the right word in the sentence.

Genre

Genre means something pattern that happens and does not change but without being boring for the main reason or for an important reason

Media/Design

Media in the rhetoric element is the connection or the way that the writer communicates with the audience, In the course, we used digital media that is explained and gives more information from multimedia platforms people get their information from different types of media apps such as Facebook, Instagram and they get to understand it from the social media.
